This weekend we will (finally) get our shit together and start recording some new material! As we speak, our guitarist is on his way from Stockholm to cold, dark and inspiring (?) Piteå. We will continuously upload pictures from the recording session on our Facebook page.

NINEDEE – INFUSCO [DIGI] OUT NOW!

It’s almost like the guys in Ninedee have been lost without a trace during the past year. The only production officially released during 2012 was the well-received remix of the song ‘The Iron Sky’ which is found on the critically acclaimed band Chaos All Stars album ‘I Need It All’. Now, however, the silence is broken and Dreamnation Studios can announce the new Ninedee EP ‘Infusco’. It consists of three instrumental tracks and they all differ markedly from previous Ninedee releases. The songs have been written in cycles over the past 7 years and Ninedee have (until now) chosen not to make these songs public. Marcus Eriksson and Henrik Söderlund from Ninedee says: ”For us it has always been important to not get caught up in specific genres and now it feels natural to release these three songs, although they differ significantly from our earlier material. We have had a productive dialogue in the band regarding this release and we all feel good about it. This is probably also a way for us to really demonstrate that Ninedee is more of a concept, or a framework where, for example, not just a particular style of music is accepted … ”.

Ninedee are currently working on their next release that hopefully will be released in late 2012 / early 2013.
